Side-mounted float level switch is consist of float assembly, stroke switch and housing. There is a pair of plate-shaped magnets are separately mounted on the top of the float and the stroke switch. When the float ball moves up and down with the liquid level changes , the magnet at the top of the float also swings up and down. The magnetic force drives the magnet of the stroke switch assembly through non-magnetic shell. So that the output contacts are connected or disconnected accordingly, and the signal device emits light or sound signals, commonly used in liquid level control systems.As the float rises and falls with the liquid level, the output contact will be connected or disconnected only when the liquid level is between the two magnetic plates. And in the lifting process, there is no any signal generated.

Float level switch are suitable for the control of liquid level switches in open or sealed containers in industrial production processes. When the liquid level reaches the high or low limit, the relay contact can be used as a signal alarm device or switch in the electric pump and other lines to realize the liquid level control, alarm, fault interlock and other functions. The float level switch is not suitable for use in media that have strong corrosive effects on materials such as stainless steel and brass, as well as those containing magnetically conductive impurities.
