Sight Glass Disc with wiper hole is also named sight glass with wiper hole and circular glass lens with wiper hole, round sight glass disc with central hole which is made from different material such as soda lime glass, borosilicate glass, aluminosilicate glass, quartz glass etc. to meet different environmental conditions requirement for temperature and pressure. The working temperature varies from 150 °C to 1100 °C.
- Soda lime glass: widely available, cheaper, working temperature up to 150 °C, DIN8902.
- Borosilicate glass: particularly suitable for aggressive environments (acids, alkalis, water vapor), working temperature up to 350 °C, DIN7080.
- Aluminosilicate glass: working temperature up to 660 °C. Heat shock resistance temperature of 375 ℃.
- Quartz glass: working temperature up to 1100 °C
Safe individual packaging
It’s our responsibility as a gauge glass manufacturer to deliver every piece to you safely. That’s why we use individual packaging to protect the products from defects en route. Gauge glasses are then placed into cardboard boxes (for small orders). And if you find any damaged pieces after unpacking, we’ll replace them with new ones at no charge.
If you order gauge glasses in bulk, you can opt for wooden packaging instead of cardboard boxes for extra protection (no fumigation is included). We can also add any markings or logos to the glass pieces and packaging of your choice.
