Graphite gasket for level gauge is also named graphite sealing gasket. It is a traditional material for the gauge glass sealing as a general purpose gasket material suitable for service in hot water, mild acids, alkalines, and inert gases in all over the world.They can handle peak temperatures without breaking down or losing effectiveness. They are chemically resistant and never degrade when exposed to aggressive substances. These general-purpose gaskets function well under high pressures, vibration, and thermal cycling.

It is made of pure graphite sheet or metal reinforced graphite sheet after cutting or stamping

There are two types of graphite sealing gaskets：

• Type A is made of 100% pure expanded graphite paper or sheet.
• Type B is made of composite graphite which is reinforced by tinplate or stainless steel sheet (SLS or PSM).
