Magnetic level indicator consists of a chamber, a float, a scale, an exhaust valve and flippers.
There are a series of small, brightly coloured magnetic flippers in the chamber. The float, which is situated within the tank or vessel, moves vertically as the fluid level rises or falls. Magnetic level indicator function through a unique principle that utilizes magnets’ attraction and repulsion properties.
As the float moves, the internal magnet also move, drives the red and white flippers to turn 180°. When the liquid level rises, the flipper changes from white to red, and when the liquid level falls, the flipper changes from red to white, and the red-white junction of the gauge is the actual height of the liquid level inside the vessel, thus realizing clear liquid level indication. operators can readily and accurately identify the fluid level within the tank or vessel.
The chamber of magnetic level indicator is generally made of 304, 316, PTFE, PP, titanium, etc., offering excellent high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance and corrosion resistance, frost prevention and explosion prevention. Therefore magnetic level indicator can be applied to liquid level measurement in various open or closed containers, especially for high pressure, high temperature, high viscosity, strong corrosive media to show its superiority. Because the measured medium is completely isolated from the indicator, it has higher reliability, safety and practicability than the traditional plate and tube level gauge. At the same time, when matched with other instruments, it can realise the upper and lower limit alarms of liquid level and remote automatic control. It can also be connected to a remote transmitter, and the magnet inside the float will be attached to the contact on the transmitter, causing a change in circuit resistance and generating various resistance signals to achieve remote level display.
