Top Mounted Magnetic flap level gauge, also known as top mounted magnetic float level indicator, magnetic level meter. The top mounted magnetic liquid level indicator is divided into two parts, the upper part is at the top of the container, and the lower part is installed inside the container, connected to the container flange by a flange. The float in the lower part of the conduit is connected to the magnetic head in the upper conduit by a connecting rod.

The float moves vertically as the liquid level rises or falls. Magnetic liquid level indicators work by utilizing the unique principles of attraction and repulsion of magnets.

When the float moves, the internal magnet also move, drives the red and white flippers to turn 180°. When the liquid level rises, the flipper changes from white to red, and when the liquid level falls, the flipper changes from red to white, and the red-white junction of the gauge is the actual height of the liquid level inside the vessel, thus realizing clear liquid level indication. operators can readily and accurately identify the fluid level within the tank or vessel.

These Level Indicators are flanged to the tank for indicating level of liquids and liquefied gases in open or closed tanks. These can be used in high temperature and pressure applications or if sight glasses and similar indicating glass parts cannot be used for safety reasons. This instrument is preferred because there is a safe pressure and gas tight separation between measuring and indicating parts. Thus the magnetic level indicator is suitable for a wide range of applications for the chemicals, pharmaceutical industries, petrochemical industries, refineries, oil and fuel tanks etc.

Accessories such as switches, remote transmission, and alarm control can be supplied and fitted to this type of gauge.
